Chrysler Celebrates 20 Years of its Successful Drive for Kids Program

We always enjoy bringing you the latest news about Chrysler, especially when it steps away from new model releases and instead highlights the automaker's involvement in the community. Chrysler is now celebrating the 20th year of its annual Drive for Kids event. Remarkably during that time, the program has raised millions of dollars to benefit schools in need across the country. Let's take a closer look at ways in which everyone can get involved.

Each year schools sign up in advance to be a part of the Drive for the Kids event. At every location the event takes place, each time a licensed driver goes for a test drive in a Town & Country minivan or other new Chrysler model, $10 dollars is donated to the school by the automaker. The more test drivers that attend the event, the more support is provided to the school hosting the benefit.

All of you in the greater Gainesville, TX area can get involved by simply looking for events near you at, and stopping by to test drive a model. Currently over 300 events across the nation are scheduled this year, and Chrysler is expecting this number will only increase from there. It is certainly a great event that allows participants to experience reliable and innovative Chrysler models, while at the same time benefiting a local school.

For more information on the Drive for Kids event, you can also visit Glenn Polk Autoplex anytime during our normal business hours. We look forward to assisting you in finding the vehicle that best satisfies all of your driving needs!
