Chrysler Reveals Runners-Up Nominees for Its Custom Challenge

Every once and awhile Chrysler likes to check in with its customers to see what kinds of experiences they are having with their new Chrysler vehicles. This year the automaker launched its Custom Challenge, giving drivers a way to share their specially customized rides. From fancy paint jobs to the addition of accessories, the runners-up certainly demonstrated the level of love they had for their Chrysler cars.

The runners-up, who were voted on by judges and the public, were each awarded with a trip for two to attend Chrysler Design Day in Detroit. This includes a special lunch with the Chrysler design team and a tour of the Chrysler Headquarters. With so many excellent submissions, it looks like it was no easy task to narrow them down from over 100 finalists to just 10.

To give all of you an idea of how far Chrysler fans go to enhance their rides, we thought we share a few of our favorites with you. Several of the selected vehicles were actually one of our favorite models, the Chrysler 300.

For starters, one was a 300 model that was painted an eye catching blue and sported fancy rims. Another had a neon green color featuring unique gullwing doors. There was also a PT Cruiser painted with a red and black color scheme, and a few others were enhanced Crossfire models.

Once the three finalists were chosen, they were then rewarded with a two year lease on any Chrysler model they choose, a trip to attend the 2014 North American Auto Show, and a $5,000 cash prize.
